MLHS FORENSICS SUCCESS!
On Monday, 2/26 we had 22 forensics participants who competed in New Holstein at the sub-district competition. ALL 22 of our students qualified to advance to district competition at Neenah High School on March 11! God's blessings to each of them as they move forward. This is just another display if the excellence taking place in our extra-curricular activities, to God alone be the glory!
LANCER SINGERS PERFORM AT ALHS CONFERENCE
On Thursday, 2/29 our Lancer Singers traveled to Brookfield, WI to sing God's praises alongside the KML Echoes and the WLA Academy Kids at the ALHS conference.
After the conference on the way back home the Lancer Singers stopped at Culver's for lunch, as a thank you they performed one of their vocal jazz pieces "Orange Colored Sky"! Spreading the love of Christ and spreading joy wherever they go! Thank you Lancer Singers for representing your school and Savior!
SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION UPDATE FROM THE COUNTY
RE: CTH R/ Waldo Boulevard to CTH P Road Reconstruction Project
The reconstruction of CTH R from Waldo Boulevard to CTH P is scheduled to start during the week of March 11th, 2024.
The project scope consists of grading, base aggregate, concrete pavement, storm sewer, culvert pipe, asphaltic surface, curb and gutter, signing, landscaping and pavement marking. Traffic thru the project will only be allow going Southbound in a single lane configuration while Northbound traffic will be detoured at the Waldo Boulevard intersection west to I-43 north to STH 310 east to CTH R.
Two-way traffic will be maintained from Waldo Boulevard to Wildwood for access to Manitowoc Lutheran High School until the school year is finished.
CTH P will also be closed at the intersection of CTH P and CTH R during a portion of the project. Businesses and residences will be contacted 24 hours in advance of any interruption of driveway access. The project is expected to be complete by the end of August 2024.
Congratulations to all of our students who participated in WSMA here at MLHS. What an amazing day of being able to witness so many talents and gifts our students have been blessed with. God is good and to him alone go the glory!
We would like to congratulate the 30 events heading to state this spring. This includes 43 individual students, our MLHS Lancer Singers, who earned a Starred First for the 26th straight year, as well as our Jazz Band. They have all earned their spots to perform at the state competition on Saturday, May 4 at UW-Green Bay!
