What is Manitowoc Lutheran High School?

Manitowoc Lutheran High School is a post-secondary education facility for grades 9-12.  It is a 4 year private Christian High School started and run by a federation of Lutheran Churches in the area surrounding Manitowoc.

Is MLHS Accredited?

Yes! We are accredited with WELSSA the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) School Accreditation. The WELS is the 4th largest school system in America. We are also accredited by the Wisconsin Religious & Independent Schools Accreditation (WRISA), a state chapter of the National Federation of Nonpublic School State Accrediting Associations which is recognized by the College Board and the Office of Non-Public Education, an office within the U. S. Department of Education. MLHS also meets or exceeds all standards for the Wisconsin Department of Instruction.

What kind of computer technology does MLHS have?

MLHS makes significant use of technology to enhance the learning opportunities for all our students. In addition to a designated computer lab available to all, every student is equipped with laptop for use in school and at home throughout their time at MLHS. This 1:1 Technology initiative allows students to retain ownership of the device upon graduation while also allowing rolling updates to new devices with each new incoming freshman class!

What extra and co-curricular activities are available at MLHS?

A full range of athletic programs as part of the Big East Conference.
