Donor Advised Fund (DAF)

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)—a simple, flexible, and tax-smart way to support nonprofits like Manitowoc Lutheran High School.

A DAF is a tax-advantaged charitable giving account. You can contribute cash, securities, or illiquid assets, receive an immediate tax deduction, invest the balance tax-free, and make grants to nonprofits over time. Whether you're an individual, couple, family, or company, you can open a DAF at one of 1,150+ providers across the country.

Because MLHS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, you can direct your DAF gifts to support Christian education and student programs anytime. DAFs help donors give bigger thanks to tax savings and added accountability—resulting in more dollars for impact. And DAFs work for every budget: in fact, 69% of DAF gifts are under $1,000!

Support MLHS through retail purchases

SCRIP (School Cash Rebate Incentive Program)

Scrip cards look and feel like regular gift cards - because they are! Choose from over 700 popular vendors like Festival Foods, Kwik Trip, Bath & Body, and more. When you purchase Scrip, you can cut tuition costs and support school programs without spending a penny more than you would normally spend.

MLHS receives the cards for a discount and then gives 75% of the discount back to you for tuition assistance and uses the remaining 25% to support school programs. You buy the cards at full price (you choose the denomination) and use them just like cash or gifts!

Repeat Performance Resale Store

Purchases at Repeat Performance decreases tuition costs for all students at MLHS.

Repeat Performance has been providing financial support to Manitowoc Lutheran High School since 2004. MLHS is the only beneficiary of revenue that results from sales of a wide variety of clothing and other merchandise. All items sold from Repeat Performance are donations from Federation members, along with donations from citizens of our community. Repeat Performance's support to MLHS has grown to over $250,000 annually. Total support since 2004 is approaching 3.5 million dollars. To God be the Glory!

Did you know that the staff at our store is 100% volunteers. They volunteer at Repeat Performance because they love MLHS, above all they love their Lord. Our volunteers see Repeat Performance as an opportunity to enjoy Christian fellowship while being part of a labor of love that benefits MLHS and can also benefit fellow MLHS family members in a time of need. We are always looking for more volunteers!
