Lancer Singers & The Clipper City Chordsmen

ree

The Lancer Singers will be part of the Clipper City Chordsmen fundraiser for Music Education on Saturday, September 20th.  The concert begins at 1:00pm at the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance.  All money raised will be shared with every high school music program in Manitowoc County.  Last year the Chordsmen raised over $7,000 to assist music education.  Their goal this year is to raise $10,000.  “Teach the World to Sing!” is a free event with a good will offering, raffle baskets, and a $2,500 matching grant.  Come hear our MLHS Lancer Singers, enjoy some barbershop music by the Clipper City Chordsmen and help raise funds for music education in our Lakeshore communities.

Registration is open for Junior Lancer Youth Choir!  JLYC is open to all students in grades 4-8 in the Lakeshore Lutheran Schools or students at one of our MLHS Federation Congregations.  It is an excellent chance for the students to grow in their musicianship, develop healthy vocal habits, and nurture Christian friendships.  Most importantly we will be joining together to praise our Lord and Savior through song!

Refrigerator/Freezer

Calling Lancer Nation - We are on the lookout for a used refrigerator/freezer that someone might be looking to get rid of. Many of our clubs and groups currently share one and space is running low. If anyone is looking to offload one we have the perfect spot. If you have something please reach out to Nathan Gurgel at ngurgel@mlhslancers.org
