Fine Arts Newsletter - September 2025

ree

Welcome to a new school year!

We are looking forward to another funfilled year with the fine arts students at MLHS. It is a blessing to see so many young men and women using their Godgiven gifts to serve and glorify their Savior. We send out a monthly newsletter to help keep everyone in the loop as we all juggle many activities and schedules. We pray this is beneficial to our busy families, but please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of our Fine Arts Staff if you have questions at any time. Soli Deo Gloria!

MLHS Accents—Join us!

The MLHS Accents exist to provide support, funding, and assistance to the MLHS Fine Arts students and instructors. All parents of MLHS Fine Arts students are considered members of the Accents. Other parents and friends of MLHS are also invited. The most visible way that Accents help are the before (setting up) and after (taking down) activities for concerts and performances. We also have other areas of support like helping with uniforms, assisting with serving meals at the Christmas and Prism Concerts, and ushering at events as well. Watch for the SignUp.com email to get started with helping with the MLHS Fine Arts through Accents.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms...so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. —1 Peter 4:10-11

Jr. Lancer Choir

ree

Registration is open for Junior Lancer Youth Choir!  JLYC is open to all students in grades 4-8 in the Lakeshore Lutheran Schools or students at one of our MLHS Federation Congregations.  It is an excellent chance for the students to grow in their musicianship, develop healthy vocal habits, and nurture Christian friendships.  Most importantly we will be joining together to praise our Lord and Savior through song!

We rehearse from 4:30-5:15pm in the MLHS choir room on Mondays in fall starting September 29 and perform at the Jr. Lancer Winter Concert on December 7.
