Future Lancer Field Trips

Over the last several weeks and the next few months, we host our annual Future Lancer Field Trips, organized by our Admissions Coordinator, Mr. Ryan Holper. These are great opportunities for our grade school students to visit their future high school. This year, we are welcoming all of the Lakeshore Lutheran School 5th and 6th graders. During these first trips, the schools have had the chance to learn about digital media and make a video for future release with Mr. Paul Durkee, join our entire student body for worship in daily chapel, and learn introductory Spanish with Miss Abbie Bosin. We pray these students enjoyed their time with us and are excited about joining us in just a couple short years!

The Lancer Singers will be part of the Clipper City Chordsmen fundraiser for Music Education on Saturday, September 20th.  The concert begins at 1:00pm at the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance.  All money raised will be shared with every high school music program in Manitowoc County.  Last year the Chordsmen raised over $7,000 to assist music education.  Their goal this year is to raise $10,000.  “Teach the World to Sing!” is a free event with a good will offering, raffle baskets, and a $2,500 matching grant.  Come hear our MLHS Lancer Singers, enjoy some barbershop music by the Clipper City Chordsmen and help raise funds for music education in our Lakeshore communities.
