The Lancer Express 2.26.2024

MLHS Calendar

Late last week Pastor Daniel Bondow informed us that he as returned our call to serve in the Theology department. Mr. Nathan Meitner, who currently serves in our social studies department as well as leading our Shining Through Christ group still hold the call to teach at Sola Fide Academy in Lawrenceville, GA. Please keep the ministry of MLHS and all called workers in your prayers.

Employability Grades

Parents, if you go onto PowerSchool, you will notice a third employability grade. This is a non-GPA influenced grade on three topics: communication (with each other and to the teachers), quality work (is it late, messy, of high quality?), and self-discipline (do they make good use of their time, are they driven?). This is the third time we have done this, so you can compare the first and second grades with the current ones. In addition, several comments were given about each student. Please reach out to your child's advisor for more information on what those comments are or why they received the grade they did. Remember, the grade is either a 1, 2, or 3. A 1 means they need improvement, 2 means they are on track, and 3 means they have exceeded expectations.
