On Wednesday, November 17th at approximately 2:35 pm, Manitowoc Lutheran ran an intruder drill. As part of the State Legislation Statue 118.07 Health and Safety Requirements, MLHS is required to practice an intruder drill at least once a school year. Each student received information what to do in case of an intruder. MLHS practices the Run, Hide, Fight method. This means if you have the option to run, get out. If you cannot safely exit the building, you should hide and prepare to fight. God willing we will never have to go through something like this, but taking time to mentally prepare oneself is so much better than not thinking about it at all. The administration was very pleased with how the drill went and would like to thank the faculty, staff, and students for their cooperation.
