WELS National Choral Festival

The Lancer Singers experienced an awesome weekend of music and Christian fellowship at the recent WELS National Choral Festival held at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. It is truly difficult to summarize a weekend filled with blessings. Highlights included… performing our choreographed song to a standing room only crowd that included 22 other WELS high school choirs at the Friday evening Pop Concert...our faith being built up and our voices and musical knowledge growing in all of our rehearsals on Friday and Saturday…seeing our Lancer alumni at MLC sing, play, and lead…a true mountain experience of singing with 500+ high school voices, 150+ MLC choir students, and a large wind ensemble and orchestra at the Sunday Sacred Concert.

Fun Fact: Manitowoc Lutheran and the Lancer Singers hold the record for the most WELS Choral Festivals attended by any Lutheran High School in the WELS!

A huge thank you to all those who supported us by driving to New Ulm to cheer us on, by sending us words of encouragement, or by watching the concerts via livestream. It is really amazing to see the support and the reach of the Lancer family at an event like this!
