On Wednesday, 4/10, the board issued a call to Mr. Ben Kopczynski, to serve in our English department. Miss Abbie Bosin is currently holding a call to Lakeside Lutheran High School, in Lake Mills, WI to teach Spanish. Please keep Ben and Abbie in your prayers as they deliberate.
Mr. Scott Loberger, who currently serving us in many capacities; athletic director, assistant principal, instructor, and head basketball coach has received a call to serve Salem Lutheran School in Milwaukee in an administrative capacity. Please keep Scott and his wife Kelly, who has also received a call to Salem, in your prayers as they prayerfully consider.

APPRECIATION CELEBRATION
"Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you" (Hebrews 13:7). At First German, we especially want to remember with thanksgiving the ministries of those who served us with the truths of salvation. We are celebrating anniversaries, retirements or those finding new roles in ministry: Peter Buege, Phil Miller, Pastor Norval and Kathy Kock, Leah Wolfrath, Carrie Ungemach, and Kelly Loberger. Save the date: June 2nd: worship of thanksgiving at 9:00 a.m. followed by a reception at City Limits. Tickets for the reception will be available beginning May 1st after church or in the church office during the week. Suggested donation is $12 per ticket.

UTAH MISSION TRIP FUNDRAISER
Our Utah Mission Trip members will be helping out WELS Congregation in Utah - Prince of Peace, Salt Lake City. Our students will assist the churches with a community event in the form of a soccer camp. They also will be canvassing! Support their mission of spreading the gospel to the souls of God's beloved people in Utah! Part-time Afternoon Preschool Assistant Position
Jesus‘ Lambs of Grace (2426 N. Rapids Rd., Manitowoc) is looking for one or more people willing and able to assist with the care of children during the afternoon hours of 1:00-5:30pm Monday through Friday. This shift could be split if we have more than one person interested.
