SCHEDULE CHANGE UPDATE
Dear Lancer Parents and Students,
I am writing to inform you of a slight calendar change for next Monday, February 5th. MLHS will be hosting a conference forensics meet on that day. In order to allow time for setup and other preparations, we will be running a flex schedule. However, instead of going to homerooms or activities at 2:28, students will be dismissed for the day at that time.
Due to the presence of students from other schools in and around our building, we kindly request that our students leave MLHS as soon as possible on that day. This includes athletes who have practice scheduled later on. The commons area will be used for coats, bags, and as a waiting area. If you are unable to pick up your students before 3:30 pm, they can wait in the commons area. However, we encourage as many students as possible to leave in order to create more space.

Director of Finance | Full-time
The Director of Finance is responsible for the high school's daily financial operation and its related functions. The Director of Finance works closely with the Director of Mission Advancement and Board of Control Treasurer. The Director of Finance is responsible for receiving general and restricted funds revenue and making all disbursements for those accounts. It is important that the Director of Finance, full-time office staff, and part-time office staff work closely to make the office run smoothly and efficiently. Therefore, communication and cooperation are essential.
Food Service Coordinator | Regular ¾-Time; Hourly
The Food Service Coordinator position supports the operations of MLHS by being responsible for planning, coordinating, serving, and maintaining the hot lunch program at MLHS.
Assistant International Coordinator | Regular Part-Time; Hourly
The assistant international coordinator works with the international coordinator with all tasks related to our international students.

URGENT HOUSING REQUEST
Weekend host families are still needed. We are excited to host the East Regional WELS Band Festival on March 14-17, 2023. Seventy-one students from 11 WELS high schools around the country will be coming for the event. Would you have space and are you willing to host 2 or more students for 2-3 nights? (Please note that the dates are at the end of the MLHS spring break.) Rapids Rd., Manitowoc) is looking for one or more people willing and able to assist with the care of children during the afternoon hours of 1:00-5:30pm Monday through Friday. This shift could be split if we have more than one person interested. Bethany Lutheran Church in Manitowoc is celebrating life during the month of January. There will be a week dedicated to Celebrate Life services and all are invited to join us. Those dates are January 24th at 6:00 PM, January 27th at 5:30 PM and January 28th at 8:00 & 10:30 AM with a Coffee Hour from 9:00 - 10:00.
