Lancer Girls BB Continues Winning Ways

Our varsity girls basketball team is on a 4-0 streak after defeating Hilbert on Tuesday, and now enters a critical 4-game stretch of games on the road the next few weeks with a 8-4 record, 3-3 in the Big East North.

Tuesday we had a couple of starters out due to sickness, but still defeated the Wolves 58-25, after taking a 37-14 halftime lead. Junior Jenna Lischka had a game-high 18 points, with seniors MonRaye Ermis and Emma Miller adding 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Our JV1 team also defeated the Wolves on Tuesday night. In a Dec. 20th game that our JV1 squad had against Valders, our girls lost by 14 points to the Vikings, so now own a 9-1 record. Last week JV2 lost to the Two Rivers Raiders and is now 3-3 on the season.

This week we travel to Random Lake Tuesday to take on the Big East South Rams (7-5, 4-2 conf.) in a 7:15pm contest (5:50pm JV1), and then Friday we take the short trip west to Reedsville to take on the 6-5 (2-4 conf.) Panthers in a 7pm Big East North conference matchup (5:50pm JV1). Our JV2 squad travels to Oshkosh Tuesday to meet Valley Christian for a 6pm game.
