In JV action this past week, both teams fell to Oostburg and Howards Grove. JV1 now has an 8-8 record; JV2 is 2-11. Both squads have an extra chance to play this week as we host the Jets from Roncalli High School Monday (TONIGHT) in JV action. JV2 starts at 6:00pm with JV1 to follow at 7:15pm.
The Lancers varsity squad (8-10) (5-8 Big East North) is still chasing the 4th place spot in the conference. Elkhart Lake beat SMC this week to stay a game ahead of the Lancers in conference standings.
Our boys travel twice this next week, starting off on Tuesday night at Sheboygan Christian. Christian is currently in 3rd place in conference standings in the Big East South with a record of 8-6. On Friday, the Lancers travel to the aforementioned Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah (6-7 Big East North) for a chance to take the 4th place spot in conference. On January 7th, the Lancers defeated the Resorters 64-62. Both nights, JV1 action starts at 5:50pm (no JV2 game on Tuesday), with varsity tipoff scheduled for 7:15pm. On Friday JV2 travels to Cedar Grove-Belgium for a 5:50pm game.
God's blessings, Lancer boys, as you aim for two victories this week!
