About Me

Dear MLHS, I'm Chang Enze, but you can call me by my English name Lydia. I live in Hangzhou, China and am currently in grade 8. I am coming to America to be a freshman at Manitowoc Lutheran High School.

So far, my interests have been reading and playing the piano. I also enjoy playing badminton, writing and painting. In my mind, reading is my favorite activity. I can say that reading has become a part of my life. I feel transported to another world when I’m reading. To be exact, I think the books I’ve read could fill my bedroom. I began to learn the piano when I was seven. It’s also a very important part of my life. The remaining activities are just some small pleasures in my life, so I won’t go into details here.

I need a better education to be able to stand out from the crowd. I’m not sure if I can do well, but I plan to strive for a chance to achieve my best. Also, I hope to broaden my horizons and improve my English. I believe these will play a significant role in my future. I don't have any preference for a host family, so long as they treat me well. Hopefully I am placed with wonderful people who will love and care for me!
