Khairo Chicago Trip
Khairo Club will be having its annual international trip in Chicago this year! The event is open to all international students and American mentors.
The weekend getaway is meant to serve as an opportunity for international students to explore more of the United Sates, with their mentors ready to guide them.
Current Trip Information
The cost of transportation, sleeping arrangements, and activities will be covered by the MLHS International Program. Students will have to cover the cost of their meals and souvenirs.
The trip will take place from Saturday, February 28th to Sunday, March 1st.
Depending on the number of students who will be participating, we will either drive lancer vans or a small bus. Details on the hotel will be available after permission forms are filled.

Schedule
01.
Depart from MLHS
We will depart from MLHS at 8:30 AM on Saturday, February 28th in order to reach Chicago by lunch time.
02.
Day 1
1. Lunch at Go 4 Food Chinese Restaurant
2. Visit Lincoln Park Zoo
3. Visit Chicago Cultural Center
4. Walk through Garden of the Phoenix
5. Dine at Boqueria in Fulton Market
Check into the hotel
03.
Day 2
1. Breakfast at the hotel
2. Church at St. Andrew Lutheran Church (WELS)
3. Visit Water Tower Place Mall
4. Lunch at Water Tower Place Mall separately
5. Visit the Smart Museum of Art
04.
Arrive at MLHS
We will arrive back at MLHS between 6:30-7:30 PM on Sunday, March 1st, depending on weather and traffic.
