MLHS FEDERATION FEBRUARY 2025 Minutes 

 

Opening Devotion

​Pastor Hacker shared a devotion on Luke 5 and Jesus calling the disciples.

• NOV 162024- Quarterly Federation Meeting Minutes

Motion made, seconded, and carried to approve the minutes as attached.

Reports -- Questions, Highlights, Discussion (cf. previously submitted reports) 

• President – Ps. Jason Hacker

Pastor Hacker walked us through his report.   

• Education - Rick Zimmerman 

Mr. Zimmerman shared the Education Committee’s report.​

• Building and Grounds – Mark Mueller 

  • Master Site Planning - Jerry Haupt​

Mr. Mark Mueller was not able to be with us. Chairman Behnke shared highlights from the Building and Grounds report. Mr. Ulhlhorn added to the report that Mr. Mark Ross has been hired to be Facility Manager which he will start in July.  

  

Mr. Jerry Haupt gave a Capital Campaign Report sharing what is being done wrapping up the new gym project. He also shared the Master Site Planning report.  

• Admissions – Tim Lukasek 

Mr. Tim Lukasek highlighted a couple of things from the Admissions’ report. ​

• Student/Staff Services - Pastor Steven Wall - Freshman Parent Phone Survey 

Pastor Wall shared the committee’s report underlining the work being done.  ​

• Mission Advancement - Matthew Menges

Mr. Matt Menges gave the report for Mission Advancement. The report is attached.   

• Finances - Greg Kolar 

  • ​Profit and Loss 

  • Balance Sheet 

Mr. Greg Kolar touched base on items from the Finance Report.  ​

• Chairman – Mike Behnke 

Mr. Mike Behnke gave highlights from his report. He added to his report an update on who currently sits on the Board of Control, their current positions, and the seats that we will be voting to fill come May.  ​

• Vote on Housing Cap $325,000 

Motion made, seconded, and passed to approve the Housing Cap of $325,000 ​

• Transportation Committee 

​Chairman Behnke clarified that we will not be voting on this at this time. Once the Transportation process, including the possible coordinator position has been clarified, it will be presented to the Federation.

Motion made, seconded, and passed to adjourn the meeting. Pastor Hacker led us in the Lord’s Prayer to close. Meeting adjourned at 10:00 am.
