Manitowoc Lutheran High School
develops young adults spiritually, mentally, and physically through a Christ-centered education. It is affiliated with the 150 year old fourth largest private school system in the United States of America.
 
Academic Sucess for International Students
  • Manitowoc Lutheran High School offers a university-preparatory program of education for grades 9-12.
  • Manitowoc Lutheran High School’s high academic standards prepares students for acceptance into respected colleges and universities world-wide.
  • All international students are enrolled in an English as a Second Language class. This class is used to help students integrate into American high school, explore important cultural norms and understand expectations of teachers and host families.
  • Once students are adjusted to life and school in the US, there is an intense focus on improving each student’s English skills. ESL classes have a class size of 1-5 students.
  • International students are also offered additional free and paid tutoring which is available for any subject. 
Manitowoc Lutheran High School prepares international students for life after high school. Beginning the second semester of their 11th year, all international students take a class that prepares them for American Universities and helps them practice for the SAT, ACT and TOEFL tests. This class improves students’ test scores and allows them to get into high ranking colleges.
